- With over 20 years of experience in international investment banking and law, Jonathan is a seasoned advisor, CEO, and co-founder of Cloud Vision. He is the former CEO and Chairman of a quoted hedge fund with assets of $3.2bn, and has been instrumental as an advisor or Board Member in taking over ten companies to listing and has advised on over 300 transactions. Jonathan holds a Master of Business Administration from the London Business School and is currently based in London and Uganda, where he has various business interests.
Joel Basoga:
- A dynamic lawyer with a global perspective, Joel specializes in competition law, corporate litigation, and data privacy. As a qualified Ugandan lawyer trained across three jurisdictions (The United States, The United Kingdom, and Uganda), Joel holds advanced postgraduate degrees from the University of Oxford and the University of Michigan Law School, where he was a Fulbright Scholar. He He holds a law degree from Uganda Christian University and completed the Post Graduate Bar Course from the Law Development Centre.
- He is a recipient of numerous academic awards and scholarships and has presented papers at leading conferences in Oxford, London and Washington D.C. Joel actively empowers young professionals through Cloud Vision and is the Co-founder of Tech Privacy Legal Lab, dedicated to promoting accountable technology use in East Africa. He practices law at a leading commercial law firm and previously worked in the United Kingdom and the United States.
